The transformation of their information infrastructure was a decisive factor
BI Strategy and Organization: These core competencies of reeeliance are also the focus of the issue 03/2015 of the TDWI journal “BI Spektrum”.
Together with our client Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (AGCS), we present in an extensive user report how we support them in transforming their information landscape.
A multi-layered business model, a very heterogeneous landscape of existing systems and a BI infrastructure that has grown over the years: AGCS was also in this starting position as many other large companies. The transformation of their information infrastructure was a decisive factor for continuing to operate successfully in the market in the areas of profitability, risk management, compliance and solvency. The “Enterprise Information Management (EIM)” program started with this task at the beginning of 2014. In the first phase of the program, the foundations were laid for successful transformation in the form of a functional architecture and a roadmap covering the entire program.
In a strategic position, reeeliance played a decisive role in the initialization and organization of the EIM program and the definition of the target architecture. In the current program, we support its successful implementation by taking over the IT project management, controlling all architectural issues and designing methods and processes in the area of requirements and test management.
